Mark Emerson

The Emerson Lab investigates the gene regulatory networks that direct the formation of the vertebrate retina. We are interested in developing in vivo technologies to identify and quantitate the interactions of proteins with cis-regulatory elements, which are the DNA elements that coordinate the precise spatial and temporal parameters of gene expression.
